The skin turnover cycle involves the proliferation, differentiation, migration, and shedding of skin cells. Keratinocytes in the basal layer proliferate and migrate towards the outermost layer, where they undergo cornification and eventually desquamation. Disruptions in this cycle, such as impaired desquamation, reduced cell turnover, excess cell production, and inadequate exfoliation, can lead to the accumulation of dead skin cells. This buildup can result in a dull complexion, clogged pores, and compromised skin barrier. Addressing these issues we have introduced glycolic acid, glutathione, niacinamide, through proper exfoliation methods, promoting cell turnover, and maintaining a healthy skin environment in order to prevent or reduce the accumulation of dead skin cells and promote a healthier, more vibrant skin appearance.
