The DSX continues the line with the same multilayer coating process, industry-standard geared focus and iris rings, and a fast T3.1 aperture, and it adds a 9-blade iris for beautiful, soft bokeh, weather sealing to keep the moisture out, and focal lengths on both sides for added versatility for focus pullers.

This ultra-wide 14mm lens produces 115.7° coverage when used with full-frame sensors, 98.4° with Super35 sensors, and 89.1° with APS-C sensors. Hybrid aspherical lenses render sharply defined images with a minimum of distortion, low chromatic aberrations, extra-low dispersion, and a high refractive index. It features a minimum focus distance of about 11″ from the lens to create dramatic close-up shots while being very close to your subject. A built-in petal-shaped lens hood provides flare protection when shooting without a matte box.
