Astamangala Mandap
The Ashtamangala is a sacred suite of Eight Auspicious Signs featured in Buddhism and Hinduism. It is believed that the eight auspicious symbols bring good omen/fortune. The Mandap is cultural symbol amongst the Newar community. It is mostly used in Mha puja – sacred ritual of worshipping one’s body as a symbol of existence.
